Clearing the Decks

My hubby saw some giveaway furniture at the end of a neighbors driveway last Friday.  My husband loves free stuff even if he has no use for it.  But this time he was inspired.  His vision was of using the furniture to put in my little studio to give me more storage space for my tools and stash.

So off  we went to look at 2 small oak bookcases and a small dresser.  It only took  a few moments to realize that the dolly was needed and the furniture was ours!

So chunks of the weekend were spent cleaning the items and coming up with various plans for where they could go or the pieces they replaced could go.

The end result is that I have more storage in the studio and even enough floor space to take my spinning wheel out there and spin if I want to.  Nothing beats a chance to sort the stash, gift some things to the thrift store and end up with a much improved crafting environment.  And the bonus was a husband who took notice and cared enough to be the inspiration!
